WHAT YOU THINK
Proverbs 23:7a – For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. (NKJV)
Read: Philippians 4:6-8
Thinking starts in the mind and is the foundation of every action. People often see things based on their mindset and belief system, not how the issue happened. For example, there is a high possibility that a fellow duped in a business will imagine that the next investment may end up like the previous one.
Today’s Bible reading verifies that what you think about is as important as your life. As a child of God, your thoughts can shape your life’s reality. Therefore, if you constantly think negatively, you must seek solutions in the Word of God. Philippians 4:8 says, “…do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.”
Beloved, make an effort to daily meditate on the Scriptures, pray fervently, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you work on yourself. As you grow closer to God, His Spirit will fill your mind with good thoughts, and all will be well!
PRAYER
Hymn: Take My Life, and Let It Be – Frances R. Havergal (1874)
1. Holy Spirit, I lay my life before You. Please renew my mind and body to conform to the divine agenda.
2. Father, open me up to the mystery of Your Word.
(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. Father, please strengthen my faith so that I know that you can help me in all circumstances.
2. Any power awaiting the manifestation of evil prophecies in my life, family, nation, and Church, be destroyed by fire!
3. Father, please make way for me in the wilderness of life!
4. My star! Hear the Word of the Lord; arise and shine forth.
5. Lord Jesus, please give me a heart like Yours that I may honour You and glorify the Father.
CONSTANTLY EXAMINE YOUR THOUGHTS!
