FEAR IS THE KILLER
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (KJV)
Read: James 2:26, Romans 10:17
Mr Death visited a town and killed ten on each street. After a while, he got worn out and had to stop for the day. However, on his way home, he met the gateman on the next street and told him, “I’m coming to your street tomorrow!” Out of fear, the man hurriedly went to announce the news to every house. The next day, Mr Death arrived early and went straight to the street but left immediately.
The shocked gateman was quick to ask, “It didn’t take you a minute before you left the street.” With all smiles, Mr Death replied, “Yes! I intended to take only ten lives, but when I arrived, a hundred were already dead.” These 100 had fallen victim to anxiety and fear of what they hadn’t seen.
Beloved, of what are you afraid? Is it fear of tomorrow, death, guilt, marriage, or what the year holds for you? Whatever it is, fear not because it’s a “False Evidence Appearing Real.” Fear is the enemy of faith and a devil’s tool to destroy man through various means such as depression and more profound health problems. Don’t be a victim!
WHAT CAN BE DONE?
First! Be sure you are born of Christ. Second, equip and soak yourself in the Word. Third, live by faith and walk by it. Finally, let not prayers cease from your lips, for through these you will prevail over the works of the enemy.

1. Father, please rescue me from the pit of fear, anxiety, and shame. Assist me in overcoming my doubts and transforming my story to glory with limitless joys.
2. Strangers and arrows shot into my body, soul, and spirit; be ejected by the power in Jesus’ name.
3. Pray with today’s Scripture reading and Isaiah 41:10-14.
FEAR NOT! YOU WILL NOT END IN SHAME!
