POWER
Acts 1:8 – But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: (KJV)

Nobody succeeds without a measure of power and support. There must be an altar, something, or someone people go to to build capacity and to recharge. According to the Bible text for today, God is the source of all authentic powers and influence. The life and ministry of Jesus are evident. He could not do anything until He received power (Acts 10:38). On the contrary, Goliath had an artificial god as his backbone but ended up disgraced with a single stone fired by a Holy Ghost-inspired David (1 Samuel 17:50).
Beloved, if you desire to fulfil destiny and mount up as an eagle in these times, you need to hold strong your conviction of God and seek His power. It is crucial to understand the importance of power and why you need it!
You need power:
1. To be empowered and do mighty exploits (John 14:12).
2. To go higher than your parents or predecessors. David was greater than Saul, while Solomon was exceedingly great (1 Kings 1:37, 47).
3. To stay relevant and well-informed, such as the children of Issachar who were ahead of their contemporaries (2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Chronicles 12:32).
4. To defeat your Goliath, call down fire to put the prophets of Baal to shame and escape the constant rage of the enemy (1 Kings 18:16-45).
5. To manifest the fruits and gifts of the spirit which brings elevation (Daniel 2).
6. To evangelise and operate a ministry with proof (Acts 10:38).
7. To live holy and to make it to Heaven (Titus 2:11-14).
At this moment, you will cry to God for divine reinforcement. However, if you are not yet born again, you cannot experience the power of God. Repent and ask for mercy; Jesus is waiting for You!
