FRUITFULNESS (Part 1)
John 12:24 – Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. (NKJV)
Read: Genesis 8:22
The concept of fruitfulness begins with the planting of a seed. As revealed in today’s Bible focus, the seed goes underground and dies, after which it emerges with life. Evidence of this life is the growth and fruits that spring forth from the seed in due season. In other words, the seed matures and transforms into a level of fruitfulness through planting and dying. This procedure applies to the law of nature.
A married couple must meet to plant the seed for conception to happen. This seed passes through various phases within nine months, making it mature for life. What the seed can become as fruit is shaped in the days when it is outwardly unseen. Therefore, as the seed goes through the dying process before becoming a durable fruit, adequate attention must be given to the formative points.
Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Every expectant husband and wife should dedicate more time to care and prayer during this period to shape the destiny of their children, ensuring the fruit grows to perfection.
On another note, initiating a project necessitates planting and dying to achieve productivity. The periods of labour and negotiation, when the plan seems to lack results, are the stages of dying, which are often the most crucial aspects. Give attention to this phase, as it could determine the direction of the project. Beloved, are you involved in any engagements, including marriage, that appear to lack results? Patiently wait in prayer, invest more in the dying period, and be positive; your fruit will break forth strongly.
