“WHY?”
Isaiah 55:7-13 — verse 8 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
The current state of things gives room for more questions begging for answers. Some people may be asking why Christians are persecuted or why the so-called bad ones are getting married while the good ones are not. So many questions!
I would like to remind you of the story of Joseph. Despite having dreams of greatness, Joseph was sold into slavery, and his experience was directly the opposite of God’s vision for his life (Genesis 37-50). Sarah also had to wait so long to have a child (Genesis 21:1-8). However, the good news is that Joseph and Sarah laughed last!
Beloved, I may not know the reasons for the occurrences in your life. But regardless of what the issues are, God is saying in today’s Bible reading: “Relax and don’t compare your present situation with the glory ahead. I’m working it out, and your delays are just for My plans to manifest”. I urge you to be encouraged by this word of assurance and refuse to question God because, sometimes, your challenges are God’s strategic vehicle that transports you to your place of destiny (Jeremiah 29:11).

I refuse to question God because, just as He stood by Joseph and surprised Sarah, He would amaze me and cause me to laugh. My turning point is now. My story has changed! I’ve moved from single to married, obscurity to the limelight, barrenness to fruitfulness, shame to fame, hardship to divine wealth (prophecy).

1. Any problem in my life that has a name must bow to the name of Jesus Christ (command).
2. Holy Spirit, please turn my little ideas and visions into weighty inventions.
3. Every connection or friendship that God did not approve for my life, be cancelled!
4. Father, let there be a fresh dimension of Your power and inspiration in our churches.
