WHO IS IN YOUR BOAT? (Part 3)

Psalms 34:8 – Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (NIV)

Read: Daniel 3

Life’s situations can be turbulent, but the difference between the victors and victims of life is that the victors cling to Christ as their anchor. Proverbs 18:10 says, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it and is safe”. When you make Jesus the captain of your boat, there will be safety, a sound mind, and strength available to you on the journey.

The scenario in Daniel 3 indicates that God never forsakes those who put their trust in Him. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to the golden image built by Nebuchadnezzar. This caused the king to throw them into a burning furnace. Despite this, these men put their trust in God, and their challenge became a platform for their promotion.

When God is in your boat, it does not matter the intensity of the storm; you can rest assured of a safe arrival. In 1 Samuel 17, after Goliath had boasted against Israel, David, who had God as his arsenal, killed the Philistine giant with one stone. This is part of the reason David wrote the testimony about God in today’s Bible reading. He further emphasised that whoever depends on God is blessed.

Beloved, regardless of any issues, hold on to God. He will lead you to your destination safely. Therefore, you will call on Jesus now, and He will answer all your prayers.

PRAYER

Hymn: He Will Answer Every Prayer — Mary Bernstecher (1914)

1. Father, with humility, I invite You to live permanently in my boat (heart).

(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)

1. I receive divine strength and support to overcome every storm of life (mention).

2. Any power waging war against the peace of my marriage, career, family, nation, and Church be silenced.

3. Father, give me a deeper revelation of You and of who I am!

YOU ARE BLESSED!
