WHAT IS IN YOUR HAND?
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (NIV)
In today’s Bible reading, we learn about God’s ability to grant our desires, regardless of the situations around us. However, contrary to our beliefs, God can do immeasurable things with what we already possess in our hands. In 2 Kings 4:1-7, there was a widow who owed some debts but had the last jar of oil. When she narrated her story to Elisha, the prophet told her to borrow extra containers and fill them to the brim with the little oil. The woman obeyed and later sold the oil, cleared her debts, and never lacked again.
God is all-sufficient and can transform unfavourable circumstances into testimonies of wonders. But we need to discern God’s leading and identify what we have that He can use as a point of blessing. There was a professor who was wretched despite his credentials. One day, he sought after God in prayers and was inspired to start selling groundnuts mixed with honey. At first, it sounded foolish, but today, he supplies his products to top American organisations.
Beloved, what are you currently experiencing that seems like a scarcity of favour or ideas? Whatever the issue is, pray relentlessly and trust God more. He will give you a revelation of how to transform your potential into profitability in wealth and wisdom (Job 32:8). Be intentional to hear from the Holy Spirit and run with the vision. Above all, don’t limit God and your capacity to excel. Go start something and fulfil your divine reality. The coast is clear!
Song: Breathe On Me — Clint Brown (2009)
- Father, baptise me with the visions and strategies that I need to be a global solution in my generation.
- Father, open my eyes to new possibilities that will enrich my life, family, and the Church.
- The powers behind my parents’ mistakes that are now pursuing my life, expire!
- Personal request.
THE WORLD SHALL HEAR ABOUT YOUR RISE TO THE TOP IN 2022!
