THE POWER OF REFLECTION
Psalms 105:5 – Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, (NIV)
Reflection is careful thought about a matter. Every act of reflection generates an action. Several occasions in the scriptures reveal that God reflects before acting. In Genesis 8:1, God remembered Noah and stopped the flood just as He remembered Hannah so that she became fruitful (1 Samuel 1:19-20). If God’s actions are based on His remembrance, we also must maintain a mindset that produces activities that please God.
In today’s Bible reading, David showed us how to ponder about God to attract His presence in our Christian journey. When we keep in mind the marvellous things the Lord has done and His supremacy over our adversary, it puts us in a position to receive what heaven has in store for us. David was dear to God’s heart because of his ability to reflect on the divine wonders as he praised God. In the same way, let your reflection move you to bless the Lord always, and His goodness will never be scarce in your abode.

1. Think deeply about the past and current blessings of God in your life and bless Him.

1. Father, give me an encounter with You to redefine and align my purpose with Your agenda.
2. Father, please renew Your covenant of life and help concerning me, my family, nation, and the Church.
3. Father, pour out on me a blessing that I will never recover from for the rest of my life.
