THE MATHEMATICS OF DESTINY

50 × 0 = 0
50 × 1 = 50
50 × 2 = 100
The above calculations reveal that no matter how great a value, once it’s multiplied by zero, it reduces it to nothing and when you multiply by one, it leaves the number unchanged. Again! Try multiplying it by a higher value, it gives you a higher worth.
Some people carry poison, and irrespective of your glory, any contact with them, reduces you to nothing. Be watchful! The second set is those who will never add value to your life like the number one. They leave you the same way you met. You are just where you are, stagnant and not making progress; you need to guard yourself against such company.
The last set of people are those who will nurture and assist you in attaining your goals. Regardless of the limited time or place, these persons leave a lifelong impact on your life. Looking at the example in our Bible reading, four friends of the paralysed man helped him regain healing. Without them, the man would have died paralysed. Therefore, we should pray to meet such fellows because it doesn’t matter how long it took you to build yourself when you are in a wrong association, you can lose your value and potentials (1 Corinthians 15:33).
Beloved, how I pray this day is that the Lord will help us to be sensitive to make the right choices in destiny, in Jesus’ name. In conclusion, Christ is the best friend ever. If you surrender to Him, He shall direct your path!
