THE GREEDY
Ephesians 5:22-33 (25) – Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. (NIV)
A couple had been praying to have their children. But suddenly, the husband decided to marry another wife while attempting to use the legal wife for rituals. Consequently, he took the woman to the herbalist and lied that she would be undergoing spiritual cleansing for fruitfulness. While there, the cultured woman would respect everyone and clean the house.
One day, the herbalist was touched by her gestures and decided to reveal her husband’s devilish plans. After which, he gave the woman a strategy that eventually trapped the man, and the greedy husband became the hunted. Beloved, there are a few lessons here. First, we must never be lazy (Proverbs 21:25) because it can lead to theft, greed, money rituals (Exodus 20:15; 1 Timothy 6:10), and death is the repercussion (Romans 6:23).
Further, as seen in our Bible reading, no matter the condition, love and stick to your spouse. Adultery and fornication are destroyers (Exodus 20:14, 17, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). More so, polygamy or polyandry may ruin yours and children’s destinies (1 Timothy 3:2). Finally, irrespective of the situation, your character will always save you (1 Peter 3:13-22). Crave for the right attitude always!

3. Pray for the fruitfulness of every home, business, the church and nations.
