THE GOLDEN VOICE!

Ted Williams, after serving in the US Army went into drugs and crimes for which he was constantly jailed. This father of nine became homeless and begged on the streets. He will hold a placard which reads: ‘I have a God-given gift of voice, I am an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times. Please! Any help will be great-fully appreciated.’
One day, Mr Chenoweth, a videographer, met him and told him to present a radio advert while he recorded it. The skit was posted on YouTube and was watched/liked by millions of viewers. Within a week, Ted received lucrative contracts for radio, TV and business adverts worth millions of dollars. His life was transformed so that he employed someone to manage his calls because there were too many offers.
Ted moved from a prisoner and beggar to a multi-millionaire with mansions all over America just as Mephibosheth, the forgotten son of Jonathan, moved from the level of a ‘dead dog’ to the king’s table (2 Samuel 9). These are what only God can do, as seen in our Bible reading; He can promote a nonentity to the top! Therefore, what is your excuse? Your background, dented reputation or low qualification? They don’t matter, once you are in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) and hardworking; God will carve out your glorious destiny!
