Job 19:9 – He has stripped me of my honor and removed the crown from my head. (NIV)

Read: Job 42:10

Job’s lamentation in our Bible reading gives an insight into what it means when someone is naked. Job was once the richest man in the East, but he lost everything. In the same way, nakedness in the dream is a sign of an impending loss of glory and precious things. I pray for you this day that whatever good was hijacked in your dream will not go missing in the physical, in Jesus’ name.

When a person dreams of being naked, it is important to be sensitive in order to understand the implications. Men who see themselves naked in dreams should pray against chronic financial, business, and career problems. Women who often see themselves publicly naked must be careful not to reveal their secrets to others.

Nakedness in a dream for married couples could refer to a serious problem in the home. The family must pray for peace and prosperity and against intruders. Students who find themselves naked in the classroom or examination hall need to pray against total failure and disappointment. Nakedness in the dream is also a sign of wrong accusation, dismissal, affliction, and death.

However, the focus of the devotional today is that God can turn any form of nakedness into victory. The Bible says that Job was restored even more than he had before after he prayed for his friends. The remedy for dreams of nakedness is prayer. Fast and pray fervently for yourself and others through the Word of God. As you intercede concerning those delicate dreams, you will never experience any negative consequences, in Jesus’ name.

Hymn: Jesus Saves – Priscilla J. Owens (1882)

1. Father, restore to me every good thing that was lost in the dream.

1. Holy Spirit, please dwell in my heart to discern God’s voice always.

2. Fire of God, liberate my life, family, leaders, and the Church from any evil soul tie.

3. Father, break every chain of ancestral mediocrity tied around my waist.
