THE DIVIDEND OF GOOD FRIENDSHIP

Mark 2:1-12 (4) – Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. (NIV)

Today’s Bible reading teaches about the paralysed man and his friends. This man had a group of friends who were uncommon because they tried several ways for him to meet Jesus, but their attempts failed due to the massive crowd. Since Jesus was preaching in the building, the men broke the roof to grant their friend access to the venue. After Jesus saw their faith, He healed the man, and the people were amazed as they praised God.

Beloved, the power of God to save and heal is always present. It is now left to us to experience this supernatural power. For this paralytic man, his loyalty to his friends, and their faith (action) were what brought him deliverance. If the man had not been faithful to his colleagues, they wouldn’t have gone the extra mile to carry him to Jesus, and he would have remained in that condition. In life and in destiny, we need the right people to help us position ourselves strategically to attain God’s purpose and provision. Loyalty to confidants and other people may be costly, but it has a way of blessing us in return.

If there is anything to pray for today, it is that the Lord should make us committed to every good course and connect us with friends who are helpers of destiny. When we have such people, we can be confident of support and prayers in our journey of faith.

1. Thank you, God, for your previous, current, and potential assistance.

2. Lord Jesus, please connect me to helpers that will not relent until I succeed in life and projects.

(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)

1. Father, I need your help desperately. Please send help to me! (Mention)

2. Father, please make me a problem-solver and a pillar of support for generations.

3. I decree that my life, marriage, business, projects, and the Church are given the resources they need to prosper.

BE BORN AGAIN!
