THE CURSE OF NAKEDNESS
Galatians 3:13-14 (13) – Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” (NIV)
Read: Genesis 12:2-3
There is no glory in being spiritually or physically naked. Whatever is associated with nakedness ends in shame. The forces of darkness understand the implication of nakedness, and this is why people strip themselves naked to curse their offenders. Anyone cursed under the influence of nakedness or with nakedness must urgently counter this evil act and utterance in the place of prayer in order to excel in destiny.
There was a story of a mother who stripped naked to curse her son because he refused to take care of her. Things went from bad to worse for the man until his eyes of understanding were opened to pray investigative and deliverance prayers. Another boy unknowingly offended his neighbour. The neighbour angrily cursed him, saying the garment of his life would be exposed. This spiritually meant that the boy would become naked and have no covering. It took serious prayers for him to succeed in his endeavours.
Beloved, the actual curses of nakedness and the curses pronounced by a person who purposefully went naked are deadly. This is because if the curses are not broken, they will continue to shape the person’s life until death. However, today’s Bible reading gives assurance that every type of curse can be broken through the redemptive power in Jesus. Christ’s death and resurrection brought deliverance from curses and activated the dimension of Abrahamic blessings for the saved. If you key into this understanding to pray, you will be set free from any torment of nakedness and enjoy divine blessings.
