THE BREAD SELLER

God is a master planner and the helper of destiny. When He is set to uplift someone, He orders their feet to where help is available. There was a story of a village lady who hawked bread in the city and made a profit of $1 daily. During an artist’s street photoshoot, she was coincidentally snapped on camera as she passed by smiling with the bread tray on her head. The beautiful picture went viral, and the photographer felt she could be a celebrity. Subsequently, the local bread seller was presented with modelling and advertising contracts worth thousands of dollars.
The lady became a star, so much so that she got a luxury house and scholarships to study. This dramatic turnaround made her shed tears during an interview with CNN, saying her family was still shocked to see her on television. What a change of story, which buttresses our Bible reading that God can transform a nonentity to become a global topic. What are the downgrading jobs, local businesses, ideas, and talents that you have but have yet to be uncovered? If any, continue to work on them. God will soon announce you (Proverbs 18:16).
On the other hand, what if the bread seller had not walked by at that time or been cheerful when captured on camera? No one would have discovered her qualities. This is divine direction! Therefore, always seek God’s leading to your place of favour and, regardless of the circumstances, always be happy because no condition is permanent. Your happiness can be an asset to activating God’s plan for your destiny.
