THAT ‘ONE’ HELPER!
Acts 9:1-19 (11) – The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. (NIV)
The information Naaman required for his deliverance was in his maidservant’s mouth. If God did not prompt her, she might have kept silent (2 Kings 5:1-19). Likewise, if the Lord had not stirred the mind of David, Mephibosheth would have died in Lo Debar (2 Samuel 9).
Further, after Saul’s divine encounter in our text, he became blind and was praying. Therefore, God told Ananias to go over to lay hands on him, but due to Saul’s history of persecuting Christians, Ananias was reluctant. However, God convinced him because he carried the anointing Saul needed to regain his sight and get filled with the Holy Ghost.
Beloved, indeed, some people possess the keys to your blessings and advancement, and until heaven inspires them, there will be no magic. But, glory hallelujah! Because even the king’s heart is in God’s control (Proverbs 21:1). In other words, if you cry to the Lord that He may connect you to the one that has what you need to succeed in destiny, He will do it!
PRAYER
Hymn: Showers of Blessing – Daniel W. Whittle (1883)
1. Father, please look in my direction today– I need divine help!
2. I shall not be a victim of delayed help and false solution.
(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. Father, please make me a lender to nations.
2. Lord, bring me in contact with people that carry the substance for my glory to manifest.
3. Holy Spirit, cause me to recognise places of opportunities and increase!
