SURE ANCHOR!
Hebrews 6:13-20 (19) – We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. (NIV)
An anchor is a heavy metal attached to a chain, mainly used for stability against the storm. Every human is prone to challenges. However, when faced with unprecedented circumstances, what do we do? Let’s look at the story of Job, who was very wealthy. There came a time when the devil tempted him so that he lost everything, yet Job held on to God and got multiple-folds restoration. I decree in Jesus’ name! Your trial and mockery shall end in praise.
We see another example in Daniel 3 where Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow to an idol and were thrown into the fire. Nevertheless, these men hung their anchor unto the Lord, and of course, they got saved. Hear me! As you make heaven your source, you shall prevail over affliction, in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, whatever situation has overwhelmed you, know it that trying times are for a purpose. A gold never becomes pure until it passes through the fire. Hold on and refuse to give in to temptations; instead, let Christ be your anchor which clings to the solid rock (God). If you surrender and trust in Jesus; He shall make you strong, secure and steady as seen in our Bible reading. He will never let you down!

3. Father, my hope is on You, arise for my sake tonight.
