STRENGTH MAY FAIL

1 Samuel 2:8-9 (9) – “He will protect his faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. No one will succeed by strength alone. (NLT)

No matter your agility, since you are human, there comes a time of ageing, weariness, and possible momentary discouragement. This is part of Hannah’s prayer in our Bible reading that nobody can prevail by their own ability except by divine strength because the Lord can deliver from troubles and raise the poor from the dust. Our response should then be to solely depend on God, whose source and power never ends (limitless). This dependence starts from first accepting Jesus into our abode (or to rededicate back to Him) because a life without Christ lacks enduring strength.

Are you the weak, abused, deprived, exhausted, directionless, or delayed? Whatever you are going through, if you channel your hope and gaze on the Father, whom you have believed, to refuel your spiritual and physical tank, a stronger you shall emerge! I leave you with the below word of the Lord. Meditate on it, pray, and run with it; you shall be re-energised.

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:28-31).

PRAYER

Hymn: Spirit of the Living God – Daniel Iverson (1926)

1. Father, refill me in every area of my physical engagements, spiritual walk, and prayer altar (Mention).

(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)

1. I shall not fail the examination of life, salvation, marriage, career, ministry, and destiny.

2. I decree that the tyre of the vehicle of my destiny shall not puncture. I shall reach my divine destination.

3. Lord Jesus, I thank You because You have heard my supplications and that of my family and the Church.

4. Every veil blocking my spiritual eyes and insight; catch fire!
