SONG OF VICTORY
Psalms 40:1-3 (3) – He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD. (NKJV)
There are songs of sorrow, defeat, loneliness, and joy. However, there is also a song of victory. This type of melody is only sung by victors because it is an experiential form of testifying of God’s mighty works. At this point, I pray for many who are yearning for their song of victory. This weekend, God shall give you outstanding victories in every battle, in Jesus’ name.
We serve a God whose mighty hands are stretched out to elevate us at every stage (Proverbs 21:31). David had several encounters of victories that could only come from the Lord, and that was why he testified in today’s Bible reading. He said, “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” After this, David mentioned that God had put a new song in his mouth.
Beloved, I have a feeling that you are about to sing for joy and dance for joy because God is set to change your stories. When He does, that’s a testimony of victory! Therefore, do you desire the song of victory? If your answer is “yes”, there is grace available now. This devotional is a prophetic piece that requires you to step up your faith. I encourage you to think deeply about past testimonies and cry out to God in prayer. Your new song will begin. Congratulations!
