RIGHT FRIENDSHIP
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (14) – Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? (NLT)
David and Jonathan were best of friends, who complemented each other so that Jonathan played a vital role in the destiny of David (1 Samuel 20-23). Their friendship is a desirable one. Therefore, do you also have a relationship that others can desire? Who are the people (colleagues and Church) you hang out with and entrust your life? Are they disciplined, worthy and rooted in Christ’ principles? You need to know! Because “The association you keep can determine the cause of your existence.”
Are you aspiring to choose your spouse? If yes, you must investigate prayerfully and depend on the Holy Spirit to guide you while being watchful. In line with our Bible reading, ‘Don’t ever think you can change that fellow after marriage. If they can’t change now, what makes you feel they will later?’ Think about these things because “Your partner will shape how far you go in life.”
Beloved, there is also a constant need for us to examine ourselves to rid out unnecessary attachments. Whatever stands as an impediment to your divine calling and purpose are to be evacuated (Matthew 15:13). It could be your negative mindset, uncultured eating habits, worldliness, inordinate affection, poor time and self-management, among other things. So, check yourself—pray and talk to people who can counsel you aright. Above all, if needed, accept Jesus today. He is the best friend! (1 John 1:6-10)

1. Lord, beam Your light on me to see and terminate undue physical connection and soul-tie.

1. Father, in every season, do not allow me to walk alone. Please, direct me!
2. Any organisation or rules made to frustrate my career, family and the Church. Be cancelled and expire!
3. I nullify every grand agenda of hell to wipe out my joy.
4. Satanic seeds, planted in the garden of my life and habitation. Be uprooted!
