RESET MY DESTINY
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (9) – Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” (NKJV)
Every one created of God has a glorious destiny, but the devil’s mission is to terminate these destinies (John 10:10). We see a clear example of Jabez in today’s Bible reading. He was more honourable. In other words, he was meant to excel above others, but his mother twisted his destiny by giving him a contrary name. Consequently, Jabez was written off, and nobody expected anything tangible from his life. Nevertheless, after he prayed to God, his destiny was reset to the original divine order.
Beloved, I don’t know what name or circumstances had diverted your glory, but Jesus can restore it! Yes, your background might be like that of Jabez so that it seems your path is negating heaven’s plan. Know for sure that God didn’t create you as a mediocre–You are made to shine! (Matthew 5:14-16). Therefore, if you can pray, the Lord shall rearrange your destiny! But, check if you are genuinely born again, so your prayers do not go into voicemail! (Lamentations 3:44)

1. Lord! If need be, please change my destiny!
2. This week! Father, please re-write my story in this area (mention).
3. Blood of Jesus! Erase my past errors (mention)

1. Father, I surrender all to You. Please, give me another opportunity.
2. Any evil altar, working against my glory, scattered by fire!
3. Angels of God, dismantle every unholy gathering against my family, neighbours, the church and me.
