REMEDIES FOR MASTURBATION
1. Your body is the temple of the Lord. Therefore, accept the fact that masturbation and other sins are not permissible (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
2. Avoid contact with illicit materials such as nudity and pornography! (Ephesians 5:11-12).
3. Discipline your inner self, do away with whatever drives you to sin. For example, lower your gaze at women or men (Matthew 5:27-30).
4. Stop vulgar or dirty talks! Avoid negative thoughts. When they come, consciously ignore them, and engage in something positive. For example, pray and read the Bible (Romans 12:1-2).
5. Pray that God should prevent you from engaging in this act and make concrete efforts to abstain from it. Your mindset is powerful (Romans 1:28).
6. Fasting helps to subject the body to the Holy Spirit (Matthew 4:2); thereby, it could reduce sexual arousal.
7. Get married if you can, if you can’t, continue fasting and praying (1 Corinthians 7:8-9).
8. It is a battle against immoral thoughts and imaginations. So, pray and live by the spirit (Ephesians 6:12-13).
9. Agree with God that you will never do it again. This will somewhat help to caution you (Psalm 119:11).
10. Be genuinely filled with the Holy Ghost. He shall direct your path and help you exercise self-control (John 14:26).
Beloved, always engage yourself with constructive things. Avoid idleness and spend time to read, go to work, plan and study the Scriptures. And if the habit and thoughts persist, you can visit the counselling team and go for deliverance (Isaiah 10:27).

2. I command my body, soul and spirit to work according to God’s principles.
3. I decree as a family, individuals and the church, our self-made tradition shall not hinder us from eternity with God.
