RECOVER ALL
Psalms 46:1-3 (1) – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (KJV)
When the Amalekites raided and took everyone as captives, David wept and was greatly disturbed because his men thought of stoning him. But he found strength in the Lord and asked Him: “Shall I pursue these raiders? Will I overtake them?” God responded: “Pursue them; you will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.” Therefore, David and his men took action to recover all. Nothing was missing or broken, and they even had plenty to share with people in several towns (1 Samuel 30).
To recover all, there are a few things to learn from David. First is inquiring from God. David sought the Lord and hold on to His word. What is God saying concerning your situation? Without divine backing, victory in life and warfare is no guarantee. The second thing to do is to move into action – work hard, and the grace for maximum accuracy shall enable you to repossess your possession. Finally, David refused to kill the slave of the Amalekite, and the man led them to their enemies’ camp. This November, let your spiritual and physical antenna open wide because God can use anything or anyone to accelerate your restoration.
Beloved, as seen in our Bible reading, God is the source of strength (Isaiah 40:31). David waited on God, and he was energised. This month, go in divine might to seize every opportunity, and you shall recover everything lost between January and October. All your targets and expectations that seem unattainable shall be achieved. Wherever you have been cornered by the enemy so that people have removed you from the agenda of favour, how God shall help you will amaze the world, in Jesus’ name. A happy new month of recovery and opportunities!
