“RECORDS CAN BE BROKEN”

Over the weekend, Nigerian Tobi Amusan broke the women’s 100-metre hurdles world record by finishing in 12:12 seconds and went on to win the final. Amusan’s remarkable feat surprised the world as she defeated the reigning world record holder. However, what a TV commentator said is also worth holding on to. Among other things, he said, “Records can be broken.” This is a word of encouragement to you at this time. Records of whatever is good can be altered.
God is a record breaker, and His kingdom is a factory where glory is born. He is interested in raising record-beaters. In today’s Bible reading, we see an excellent example of the making of David. David broke the existing record of King Saul by killing thousands more, including Goliath. This made the women sing David’s praises in the presence of Saul. When God is with you, records can be smashed. You can jump over all forms of family, local, career, national, or global boundaries to become the best of the best. With your diligence in working and praying, the Holy Spirit can inspire you to take the right steps to greatness.
Beloved, like Amusan, be determined to be the best at what you do, and put God first, as done by David. Very soon, you will achieve what nobody in your lineage has ever attained. If there is any embargo placed on your rising, by the power in the name of Jesus, it is shattered. Every Pharaoh preventing your Israel from entering Canaan has been silenced today. Like a dream, your dream will become reality. You are empowered for maximum impact. Go forth and break good records.
