2 Corinthians 5:11-21 (18) – And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. (NLT)
God created us to constantly fellowship with Him (Genesis 3:8). However, after man fell, we became vulnerable to sin. As a countermove, God gave us Jesus to save the world and reunite us to the Father’s love/eternal plan (Matthew 1:21; Luke 5:30-32). As time passed, Jesus healed the sick, restored the lost and broken-hearted, made disciples and empowered them to replicate His mission (Matthew 28:19-20).
Beloved, are you a disciple, a Christian who refuses to fulfil divine mandate or you still need to make up with people (family and neighbours). We must do a personal check because some people need to forgive before their prayers, and kingdom service can be acceptable (Mark 11:25-26). Have you any malice or rage against anyone? If yes! God wants us to bury the hatchet; just because as seen in our Bible reading, ‘Reconciliation is the heart of Salvation’.
Some people also need to reconcile with the Lord because they have gone astray. If you are in this category, Christ came purposely for you; so that no matter your past, you can start afresh (2 Corinthians 5:17). He is spreading His arms to receive you back to Himself. Would you accept or rededicate your life to Him? (Revelation 3:20).
Hymn: Amazing Grace – John Newton (1779)
1. Father, please forgive my transgressions (confess) and never let me undermine Your love!
1. Father, endow us with a new vision, anointing, healing (Ask your desires).
2. Father, please reverse the irreversible for my sake. Let my story change!
3. Father, empower me to win souls, transform lives, heal the sick, raise the dead and set captives free.
NEVER KEEP MUTE, PRAY!
