PUT IN EVERYTHING!
Mark 12:41-44 (44) – They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.” (NIV)
A sacrifice is something of a prestige or services rendered to God. King Solomon is an excellent example of a sacrificial giver who gave 1,000 burnt offerings in a day, and God gave him a blank cheque (2 Chronicles 1:1-12). Similarly, Abraham having had Isaac at an old age still surrendered him as an offering (Genesis 22:1-18) because he understood what it takes to move God through faith and obedience (Romans 4:16). God indeed fulfilled His covenant with him (Genesis 17:1-10).
Beloved, the volume of help you will attract, depends on the quality and not the quantity of your input. For example, the widow in today’s Bible reading, despite giving her little was counted to have given more than the rich because she gave all she had as a sacrifice to the Lord. No wonder, David said, I won’t give to God that which does not cost me (2 Samuel 24:24). In other words, when you are devoted to giving, you gain automatic access to divine irreversible blessings (Luke 6:38).
Conclusively, to move God to a greater dimension in your life, this September, endeavour to give heaven the best of your everything–time, lifestyle, prayer, strength, materials, etc. (Matthew 22:37) and it shall be well with you. Be Born Again!
