PROTOCOL IS SUSPENDED
Esther 6:1-14 (6) – When Haman entered, the king asked him, “What should be done for the man the king delights to honor?” (NIV)
A protocol is a set of rules and manner of operation. It is good to observe protocols because it brings about a smooth organisation. Moreover, God is the father of orderliness (1 Corinthians 14:33, 40). However, whenever He decides to bless a man, all norms are suspended. For example, if by protocols, the man at the Pool of Bethesda would not have been healed (John 5:1-12). Likewise, following the rules, Joseph would never have become a prime minister in Egypt (Genesis 41). Because it is like a non-British becoming the PM of the United Kingdom. But, with God, anything is possible! (Luke 1:37).
In today’s Bible reading, Mordecai was a palace gateman until one night that the king could not sleep so that he asked, “Whom shall I honour?” Haman (thinking he was the man) quickly replied, “Let Mordecai be hanged”. But, instead, the king ordered him to decorate and announce Mordecai. Haman was, therefore hanged on the gallows he had prepared to kill Mordecai (Esther 7). When protocols are divinely halted, strange events occur such as in 2009, when Barack Obama became the first black president of the United States of America. Today! I decree over your life that no matter your current level, very soon, nations shall seek for you, in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, irrespective of your status or position, when God is set to lift you, protocols can be suspended. Therefore, you want to pray. But, are you Born Again?
