OPERATIONS OF THE WASTER
John 10:10 – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (NIV)
Following recent occurrences, you should know that the world is in a serious crisis. As stated in our Bible reading, the waster is on a mission to terminate destinies and gain souls to hell. This is why the events that waste lives and resources do happen sequentially. There is never a time of rest! For example, the last two years has been about the pandemic, and when it seemed as if the world was returning to normal, there came the Afghan crisis. Very soon, it would be resolved, but many have died unnecessarily. There was also a bank robbery that claimed thirty-three lives. The criminals were later arrested with the monies. But the unlucky ones are the thirty-three innocent people who were pathetically wasted.
Every evil event in the world is intentionally planned by hell to steal lives and terminate the joy in the land. We see an excellent example of the operation of the waster in 2 Samuel 11. There, Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba, was purposely placed in the war forefront so that he was killed. David wasted this unsuspecting man just to cover the sin he committed with Bathsheba. I pray for you today—any arrangement to suck out your life is cancelled by the blood of Jesus.
Beloved, you need not be told that there are underlying reasons for several occurrences in our nations and locality. That is why we need to be alert and prayerful so as not to fall prey. We must deliberately wrap ourselves under the arms of God because, in Him, there are peace and safety (Psalms 121:3). The latter part of John 10:10 emphasises God’s mandate to counter the works of darkness. What Christ gives is exactly the opposite of Satan’s verdict (John 14:27). If you accept Jesus and walk in His light, no power or scheme of man can waste you. More importantly, you are assured of eternity with God.

2. Father, please console every grieving family and troubled individual.
3. Father, let me always abide under Your canopy of protection.

1. I remove my loved ones and my name from the book of death and hell.
2. Father, let the ancestral pattern of wastage in my life, children, marriage and finances, cease now!
3. I refuse to activate my own destruction and cancel any attempts to disgrace me.
Action: Cover yourself, your nation and everyone you know with the blood of Jesus!
