OPEN GATES
Psalms 24:7-10 (9) – Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. (NIV)
When you try to exit a place, but the doors are locked. Can you fly over the door? You have an appointment, yet the streets are under lock and key. The same goes in the spirit realm; some unseen forces hinder people from moving forward in destiny. For example, the Book of Mark 5:1-20 has the story of the madman of Gerasenes. This fellow was spiritually possessed with 6,000 demons which affected him psychologically. But, when Jesus stepped in, he was delivered and became an evangelist.
Apart from the spiritual and psychological, there are the physical, marital and financial gates. In Acts 12:5-12, Peter was imprisoned and chained, but an angel took him past two doors, and the third was an iron gate that opened by itself. Peter then said, of a surety, now I know God has delivered me from Herod. This week! Every strong gate closed against your rising is opening up, in Jesus’ name.
Maritally, God remembered Rachael and opened her womb (Genesis 30:22-24). Similarly, in 2 Kings 4:1-7, the widow moved from financial indebtedness to being an oil merchant. I decree again! As the Lord lives, every riddle of your marriage and career shall receive a solution today, in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, what is your own story – is there any gate blocking your glory, health or career, among other things? You will cry out to God, the King of glory. As seen in our Bible reading, when He shows up, every prevailing door must be lifted.

3. Every blockage on mine, family and the Church’s path to glory; crumble!
