NOT BY SIGHT
2 Corinthians 5:7 – For we live by faith, not by sight. (NIV)
The spies sent to the Land of Canaan couldn’t but see themselves as grasshoppers in the sight of others (Numbers 13). They were self-defeated! Similarly, when the Syrian army hunted for Elisha, his servant rushed in panic to inform his master. But Elisha told him, ‘Do not be afraid, those with us are more than those with them’. Then he prayed, and the servant’s eyes opened to see an array of horses and chariots of fire roundabout his master (2 Kings 6).
Beloved, we are what we see and think (Proverbs 23:7); so, we must consciously picture the positive and transform the world’s ideology to kingdom wisdom! What men call impossibilities should be opportunities for us because as seen in our Bible reading, we only live by the spiritual currency, which is faith! (Hebrews 11:6). Therefore, revive your relationship with God (if need be) and let the Holy Spirit open your eyes like Elisha’s servant to perceive God’s reality because ‘you cannot actualise what you can’t visualise’. Until we see things the way heaven does, we remain an object of human experimentation! (1 Corinthians 2:14).
PRAYER OF DECREE
Hymn: Will Your Anchor Hold? — Priscilla J. Owens (1882)
I disconnect myself from fear, self-defeat, low self-value, insignificance and failure (mention). Hence, I see and enjoy greatness, healing, marital connections, open doors, and spiritual growth (prophesy). So help me, God!
(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. Father, please open my spiritual eyes to behold Your glory!
2. Lord, help the church and me to hear the inaudible and obey.
3. Powers assigned to disconnect me from the source of help and glory, scatter!
