MIRACULOUS SIGNS
Acts 4:16 – “What should we do with these men?” they asked each other. “We can’t deny that they have performed a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it. (NLT)
A miracle is an act of God because it surpasses human comprehension to happen. As believers, God wants us to experience notable signs and wonders. An excellent example of this is found in John 9:1-12. After Jesus healed the man born blind, nobody recognised him, and his neighbours began to argue if he was the same man they used to know. I have a feeling that before August is over, God shall give you blessings that nations will find too difficult to believe. If you are single, you are getting married this year. If you have experienced stagnation, there is a shift coming. Everyone declared sick or barren shall enjoy good health and fruitfulness, in Jesus’ name.
On the other hand, there is yet another level of exploits that God wants us to attain. Jesus said in John 14:12: “Anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works.” In this generation, we must replicate God’s power in a higher dimension to the extent that even when people are against us, they should still be able to point to the evidence of the miraculous. This was the case in today’s Bible reading, where some people who gathered against Peter and John acknowledged the miracles performed by them.
Beloved, there is no stage at which a man does not require power for greater exploits. This morning, you will tell God — whether it is breakthroughs you crave or you want to be a divine vessel that performs wonders, I can assure you that “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” (Acts 1:8).
