LIGHT UP YOUR PATH
John 8:12 – When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (NIV)
One night, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, went down a path to pray. Of course, because it was dark, he took a lamp along. However, suddenly, the light went off, and Papa tried everything to revive it, but to no avail. He had to turn to prayer, and immediately, a bright moon appeared and lit his path until he returned home. God is light! He sees and responds to His people when they call (Psalms 50:15). That’s why I can decree today that every dark spot in your life and history is erased, in Jesus’ name.
Jesus said in our Bible reading, “I am the light of the world”. When we are genuinely in Christ, we will dwell in the light. What this means is that we must live in the consciousness of God’s capability to illuminate our path in life and destiny. If, on the other hand, you are in a spiritual or physical tunnel, all you need to do is accept Jesus or rededicate your life to Him and ask the Holy Spirit to grant you an understanding of the supernatural. You must therefore address those circumstances in prayer. Like a dream, your obscurity shall turn into the limelight.

1. Father, more than ever, let Your light shine into my life’s situation (mention).
2. Father, uphold me till the very end. Please, perfect all that concerns me!

1. Father, please direct my steps daily and make me a blessing to others.
2. Holy Spirit, please possess me with an understanding of God’s move in my assignment.
3. Spend quality time praying in the Holy Ghost.
4. Pray for Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
