KEEP YOUR FOCUS
Psalms 57:1-9 (7) – My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. (KJV)
There is no better person from whom we should learn the act of focus than our Lord Jesus. Despite the hurdles he faced during His ministry, he fixed his gaze on completing what he started. The Jewish council opposed and disgraced him. One day, seventy disciples walked out on Jesus. Peter denied him, and Judas betrayed him. He was accused of being a demonic and cult leader. Jesus healed ten lepers and experienced the deep ungratefulness of men. Mobs tried to kill him, and the ones he set free preferred a known criminal to him. None of these hindered Christ from finishing well because he concentrated on his mission (John 4:34).
What challenges do you face in your quest to attain your purpose? Regardless of their magnitude, be determined to finish strong. It is only those that persevere to the end that will testify. We saw an excellent example in our Bible reading about David. He was besieged by raving lions that would swallow him. The sons of men whose teeth are arrows and whose tongues are sharp swords pursued him. Yet David declared that his heart was fixed on the God of his salvation as he praised Him always.
Beloved, the Lord who was with Jesus and David is with you in whatever journey He has entrusted in your hands. Go in this might and with the confidence that you shall prevail above all else. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep focusing, praying and believing; you shall reach the finish line. Congratulations!!!

2. I declare today that my mind is fixed on You, Lord. Please, direct my path.

2. Every force of mediocrity and inferiority complex, ruling over my divine purpose, expire!
3. Father, please terminate the war of the mind and crisis of identity in my life.
4. Holy Spirit, possess me with the power for the next level.
