Ecclesiastes 12:14 – For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (NIV)
While watching the recorded video of my wedding ceremony, I noticed several activities and dance moves I never thought would be captured. I further discovered a few things that were either needless or overdone. At this point, the Holy Spirit began to liken the video to the “Judgement Day”, when there will be no hiding place for humanity or time for correction because all our works will be put to the test of fire (1 Corinthians 3:13-15).
As seen in today’s Bible reading, the day is approaching when everyone’s secrets, both good and evil, will be exposed. A day when white lies, malice, fornication, adultery, theft, and forgery will be judged. On that day, some would say, “I gave to the poor and the Church.” Yes! They did, but the true intentions of their actions will be revealed. The wicked and doers of iniquities, as well as those who commit atrocities but pretend to lift holy hands, will receive judgement (Matthew 7:21-23).
Beloved, God is keeping a record of every moment of our lives. Therefore, if I know that my life’s activities will be used to judge me, I will examine myself to amend my ways and live one day at a time. Peradventure, your lifestyle has not been up to God’s standard. I beseech you to repent now before it’s too late. God does not take pleasure in the death of a sinner, but rather He delights in your salvation. He is calling, “Dear Child, come home!” (Revelation 3:20).
