IT IS NOT OVER!
Proverbs 24:10 – If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. (KJV)
Someone reading this text might be fed up with their situation and how the year has been. There is a message for such a person, and it’s that “It is not over until you win.”
The life of Abraham presents an excellent example to learn from. He couldn’t bear a child despite God’s promises to him, yet he did not give up. Abraham and Sarah had the understanding that God is more interested in the end of a matter than the beginning. That is why Sarah eventually became a mother and laughed last (Genesis 17:1-8; 21:1-7).
Beloved, what is your own story about life and the year 2022? Has it been great, fair, or terrible, or are you still hopeful for a last-minute miracle? Whatever the circumstances, as seen in today’s Bible reading, do not lose hope in the stormy season but focus on the bright future. Hold on to Jesus because, with Him, it’s never over till His purpose for your life becomes reality.
As we enter a new year, God is set to elevate you in to your time of rest. This is why we are engaging in a 3-day prayer and fasting programme, starting tomorrow and lasting until the 30th. The Lord Almighty shall hearken unto us by His grace and mercy.
In conclusion, I encourage you to expect a major breakthrough before the year ends, because “a living fowl can still eat corn”. It’s still five days to go; God will give you a glorious ending to the year!
