INFORMATION IS POWER
John 16:12-15 (13) – But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (NIV)
The times we live in require that we stay informed because we are products of the information we receive. Information is key to fulfilling purpose because it eliminates aimlessness and time-wasting. 1 Chronicles 12:32 reveals that the children of Issachar understood the times to know the things to do at perfect timing. The result of this was that they had control of power.
Studying Joseph’s experience, he interpreted the butler’s dream that he would regain freedom from prison. When Pharaoh dreamt, and nobody could understand it, it was the butler’s recommendation to Pharaoh that boosted Joseph’s relevance (Genesis 41). Therefore, Joseph translated Pharaoh’s dream and saved Egypt from disaster. Because of this, he ascended to the position of power!
Beloved, the world requires problem solvers, not people who constitute liabilities. Information is power. Those who possess relevant information can solve problems. Do everything legitimately possible to gain knowledge, and you will be sought after (2 Timothy 2:15). Above all, connect to the right source of information. As seen in today’s Bible reading, the Holy Spirit is the foundation of truth and direction. Consistently live a righteous life while paying attention to divine leading. You will never be misled!
