Job 14:7-9 (7) – “Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. (NLT)

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.”

Written above is one of my favourite quotes, which by way of explanation means: what nature or man thought would bring your doom shall instead propel you into your glory. This is true when we examine the story of Joseph, whom his brothers thought must have died in slavery. But, against all the odds, the boy rose to stardom in grand style in a strange land (Genesis 37-50). That is why I have a word for a fellow, that whatever you are going through, never think of giving up, because as seen in our Bible reading, when there is life, there is hope. And I decree, this very month, you shall mount your throne of honour, in Jesus’ name.

Nevertheless, Beloved, it is vital to know that while waiting on God, we must learn to look up to heaven alone with optimism as David did in Psalms 121. When we pray and cultivate our faith to receive, suddenly and sooner than expected, challenges become stepping stones to higher ground (Proverbs 24:16). Therefore, I urge you to cry out to the Lord — make it an unforgettable moment to tell Him the issues of your life, career and marriage. I can assure you that He shall raise you from the valley of hopelessness to the mountaintop!

Hymn: Higher Ground – Johnson Oatman, Jr. (1898)

1. Every cloud of darkness and difficulties hovering over my life; clear away!

2. Father, transform me from a victim to a victor and take me to the mountaintop.

1. Inherited battles and family crisis; expire by the blood of Jesus!

2. I cancel every tragedy and death programmed for my life, families and the Church.

3. Father, please turn my mess into messages of hope and my trials to triumph.
