Mark 9:17-27 (24) – Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (NIV)

Miracles are divine occurrences that exceed the human and technological capacity to occur. The Bible records several miracles, but it is important to note that the key to unlocking the miraculous is “faith”. Whatever you need, whether it is healing or financial and marital breakthroughs, you can have them if you believe in the supernatural. During Christ’s ministry, before He performed miracles, He would ask, “Do you believe that I can do this?” After the receivers respond, He would say, “Be unto you according to your faith”, and they would go away rejoicing (Matthew 9:27–34).

On the other hand, in situations when your faith is too little to receive anything, God can still help your unbelief. In today’s Bible reading, when Christ was about to heal the possessed boy, He said that all things are possible to those that believe. However, the child’s father replied, “I do believe. Help my unbelief”, and the boy was set free. Beloved, whatever the level of your faith, talk to God to help your unbelief and strengthen your faith. Don’t pretend but pray for the experience of God’s power that would eliminate all kinds of doubt in your life before 2022 begins. As you intercede, you shall have multiple breakthroughs in Jesus’ name.

Hymn: I Believe in Miracles — Carlton C. Buck (1956)

1. Father, thank You for making me the evidence of Your glory and mighty works.

2. Lord, help my unbelief, uphold me and make me an epitome of signs and wonders.

1. Father, do not wipe me out suddenly from the surface of the earth. Please, show me mercy.

2. I declare any power that hates my laughter to fall and perish.

3. I decree that as a Church, family, and community, we shall not misuse our glorious opportunities.

4. Father, please stretch Your hand into my past, and uproot every negative seed.

5. Father, please stretch Your hand into my destiny and future, and uproot every time-bomb.
