HELP FROM GOD!
Psalms 121:1-2 (1) – I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? (NKJV)
That person has not helped you because God has not put it in their heart to assist you. Regardless of the amount of help you ever received, if God had not prompted the helper, it would not have been possible. This is because the king’s heart is like a river in God’s hands—He directs it wherever He pleases (Proverbs 21:1).
Are you often let down by friends, family, the government, or people you thought would be able to help? If so, be encouraged by the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda for 38 years. This man had nobody to assist him and he couldn’t lift himself either, but when Jesus showed up, he was made whole (John 5:1-15). Every help, be it healing or favour, originates from God before manifesting in the physical. When David proclaimed those words in our Bible reading, he had the understanding that help only comes from above and not abroad.
Beloved, I encourage you to channel your focus to heaven because it is God that knows where your shoe pinches. Stop blaming man or nature for your circumstances. It is time to pray that God would move the hearts of men in your favour because, without divine inspiration, your helper’s aspiration is meaningless!
