GOD’S TYPE OF LOVE
Luke 19:10 – For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (NIV)
Genuine compassion for one another produces strength and stability because love is the foundation of enduring unity (1 Peter 4:8-10). The relationship between God and His Son—Jesus, indicates the unbreakable cord that emerges from love. This was demonstrated by Christ’s lifestyle and the declaration that, ‘I and my Father are one’ (John 10:30). Jesus never did a thing without acknowledging His Father. He subjected His personal desires to God’s will because love comes with respect and submission.
God, therefore, extended His love to humanity through Jesus Christ. This is called ‘Agape Love’. It is God’s perfect, unconditional love. Agape love is more than an emotion but active and sacrificial. Christ loved us dearly that He sacrificed Himself on the cross of Calvary for our sins (John 3:16). Through this, we attained the level of sonship. ‘What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we’re called children of God! That’s who we really are.’ (1 John 3:1A). Hallelujah! We are no more slaves of hell.
I am appealing to you, brothers and sisters. It doesn’t matter how terrible your past is and the current happenings in your life. What’s important to God is your soul and salvation. Salvation involves the pardon of sin, healing, deliverance, provision and Godly wealth. Therefore, stop basking in darkness and uncertainty. Come over to the divine light and love. In fact, as seen in our Bible reading, Christ came purposely because of you so that you can fulfil your destiny and make it to eternity with God. It is my prayer today that you shall have an encounter and fresh revelation about God’s love and sacrifice for you. Amen!

1. Lord Jesus, cause me to appreciate Your love daily, never to take it for granted.
2. Father, give me a revelation of Your tender mercies and manner of love for me.

2. Every particle and agent of hell in and around my home, vicinity, nation and the Church, dry up!
3. Lord, let Your presence fill my heart and life to break every work of the flesh.
4. Fire of God consume every agenda of affliction and sudden destruction programmed for me.
