GOD USES VESSELS (PART 2)

Isaiah 6:8 – Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me (KJV).

God is always in need of vessels. Even when it seemed God was displeased with man’s wickedness, Noah found grace and was used to facilitate the divine agenda for preserving the righteous. In the new testament, God yearned for a man to save the world so He gave His only son, Jesus. Therefore, the death and resurrection of Jesus perfected God’s redemptive plan for humanity (John 1:29).

In the modern era where religious extremism, hate, corruption, and immorality are the order of the day, the Lord is looking for ambassadors of Christ’s legacy. Perishing souls need you to restore them by spreading the good news of salvation. Will you say to God, “Here am I; send me,” as Isaiah did in our Bible reading? I urge you to be a vessel for God. Take courage from Jeremiah, Noah, Samuel, and Paul to go the extra mile for the restoration of the hearts of people to God.

Beloved, endeavour to reach out to people daily in your own little way. You don’t have to be a pastor to win souls or perform signs and wonders. The Holy Spirit will give you the strategy and utterances you need to bring nations back to Christ as you live a holy lifestyle and open your mouth to speak about Jesus, sing, or write. The world awaits God’s manifestation in your life; go forth and make disciples.

PRAYER

Hymn: Jesus Saves — Priscilla J. Owens (1882)

1. Lord Jesus, give me the grace to serve You wholeheartedly and to win the world for You.

(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)

1. Father, help me fulfil my calling and purpose in life to the glory of Your holy glory.

2. Father, show me my assignment in the scheme of Your redemption for humanity and empower me to prosper in it.

3. Pray in the Holy Ghost until you have satisfaction in your spirit.

“Our destinies lie in our obedience to God.”— Kehinde Abolarin.
