GOD IS ABLE!

Matthew 6:31-33 (31) – Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (KJV)

Read: Philippians 4:6-7; 19

Worry breeds fear, and both are never good for the body or the soul. God does not want His children to be afraid but rather to have faith in Him. Though many issues may give rise to anxiety, God is communicating through today’s Bible reading that you should not think about tomorrow or what to eat, drink, or wear. He is capable enough to supply your desires according to His glorious riches.

In Luke 5:1-8, God showed His ability to provide for every human need, even in hopeless situations. Peter had not been able to catch a single fish overnight. But when Christ intervened, he got a net-breaking and boat-sinking breakthrough.

Beloved, refuse to worry about anything but work hard in faith and pray about everything. This is because your blessings are tied to the spiritual in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 1:3). You can only key into the physical manifestation through prayer, faith (your knowledge of God), and labour. It was at the point of Peter’s labour, that divinity mixed with his little faith to produce results.

As you remain diligent in your work, studying the Word, and praying, I encourage you to trust God for His intervention. You will have encounters that will not only give answers to your prayers but also strengthen others’ faith above all forms of fear and anxiety.

PRAYER

Hymn: O Happy Day — Philip Doddridge (1755)

1. Father, please take over the affairs of my life. Let Your Holy Spirit strengthen my faith and grant me rest.

(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)

1. Father, please give me the peace that passes all understanding and possess me with joy like a river.

2. My divine purpose I have not achieved so far in life. Father, please give me the grace to accomplish them.

3. Father, as individuals, as leaders, and as the Church, please renew our hearts of worship.

YOU WILL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS LIKE AN EAGLE
