LIFE FOR YOUR SOUL AND BODY
Job 32:8 – But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (KJV)
A human being is made up of a body, soul, and spirit. The body is the outer part. The soul is the source of human expression, while the spirit is the main channel of connection with God. In the quest to fulfil destiny, the soul and body must operate based on the conditions of the spirit. This means that everyone needs God to stay equipped and to carry out their daily functions.
The experience of Joseph in the Book of Genesis shows that the spiritual is the foundation for any greatness. Joseph’s first step to stardom was his dreams about his elders bowing to him. Since it is God that gives dreams, Joseph depended on God even when he was enslaved in Egypt before becoming prime minister. Joseph’s journey was engineered by the spiritual revelation he got in his dreams, and the godly qualities in his soul made it possible for him to achieve his physical goals.
Beloved, you surely need the divine factor in your life’s pursuits. Every human has a natural craving for satisfaction—a thirst in need of water and a void waiting to be filled. These feelings can only be quenched when the soul and body are subjected to the Holy Spirit. As seen in today’s Bible reading, the Spirit of God is the foundation of inspiration and power. Let your spirit align with God so you can receive power through the Holy Ghost. Go all out and fulfil your visions, as Joseph did. God bless you.
