Proverbs 4:7 – Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. (KJV)

Wisdom is power and the perfect use of information. King Solomon demonstrated great intelligence when he judged the case of two prostitutes who fought over a baby (1 Kings 3:16-28). In verse 25, He ordered: ‘Cut the living child in two and give half to one and a half to the other’. Then the mother cried preferring to leave her baby to the other woman who had agreed that the child is killed. Through this, the genuine mother was identified!

Beloved, as seen above and in our Bible reading, we must get wisdom and understanding to make accurate judgement. More so, an insightful man or woman will rule the world, and nations will pay for their services. For example, the Queen of Sheba gave Solomon one hundred and twenty talents of gold and precious stones; even the navy of Hiram brought gold from Ophir (1 Kings 10:1-29).

Do you lack wisdom? If yes! Ask the only wise One; Jesus (Jude 1:25; James 1:5). After all, Solomon asked, and it was granted with wealth because he chose wisdom over wealth. Before that, he gave God a quality offering and got an all-inclusive blessing (2 Chronicles 1:1-12). What are you giving to the Lord? However, never ask for material things but wisdom!
