FROM REPROACH TO GLORY!
Job 42:10-13 (10) – After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. (NIV)
A reproach is a disgraceful and miserable situation. We see the example of Job who was wealthy and God-fearing. He was tried by the devil so that he lost everything and dwelt in shame (Job 1:1-3). However, according to our Bible reading, God restored Job in double-fold, and he became more famous. Similarly, when Goliath ridiculed the nation of Israel, within a few moments, little David, who was backed by heaven, flattened the Philistine giant and became a star (1 Samuel 17:43-44; 18:7).
‘I decree that your shame shall announce you to greatness this month. Every unpleasant circumstance in your life; shall receive instant divine turnaround because the Lord shall move you from pity to honour, in Jesus’ name.’
Beloved, reproach is never of God and should not persist in the lives of the genuinely saved (John 16:33). Nevertheless, in the trying times, we must hold on to God as Job and David did when they refused to curse God and confronted Goliath, respectively (Job 2:9-10). Are you also willing to trust the Lord to change your ‘reproach to glory’? If you believe (Mark 9:23), and tell Jesus about those issues in your life, career and marriage. He will answer every prayer! (Psalms 50:15). Be Born Again!
PRAYER
Hymn: I Must Tell Jesus – Elisha A. Hoffman (1894)
1. Father, please turn my shame to my glory announcer (mention).
(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. By the power in Jesus’ name, any mouth cursing me, dry up!
2. Father, make me a new wine and useful vessel for Your kingdom service.
3. Please pray for Nigeria!
YOUR LIFE SHALL BE COLOURFUL AGAIN!
