DON’T ALLOW THEM TO BURY YOU!
Exodus 15:1-21 (9) – The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. (KJV)
A king once sent a messenger to drown three chiefs who knew about his shady business, after which he killed the messenger so no one could trace the incidence. Indeed, some people will do anything to bury you to cover their reproach just as there are secret enemies who see you as a threat in that workplace, school, or family.
For example, Joseph was almost buried by his brothers, who perceived him to be their father’s choice (Genesis 37:3-36). Similarly, in 1 Samuel 18:6-30, Saul tried to eliminate David because he saw him as a risk to his throne.
Beloved, don’t be ignorant! It won’t matter whether you excel or fail, there are powers ready to hurt you just as Pharaoh determined to destroy the Israelites in our Bible reading (Jeremiah 17:9). But the Lord delivered Israel. Therefore, who is that Pharaoh planning your burial before your glory appears? If any! As you pray today, you shall see the end of your adversaries, in Jesus’ name. Be Born Again!
