Job 8:7 – And though you started with little, you will end with much. (NLT)

Every gigantic project you see today was once at the level of the foundation. This is because there is never a product without a process. In all phases of life, there is always a time of sowing before the harvest. When Pastor E. A. Adeboye became general overseer, he craved Pastor David Yonggi Cho’s anointing to prosper in God’s work. Through the laying of hands by Pastor Yonggi Cho, Pastor Adeboye got an impartation of the Holy Spirit for Church growth. He followed this up with diligence and hard work, and he prospered in ministry.

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, also revealed that the secret of his wealth was when he observed his uncle as a child. Dangote’s uncle was a successful businessman, and young Dangote learnt the skills of business from him. There is no effort that is wasted when we engage and invest in our future. Adeboye and Dangote invested in their future because they had the understanding that life is a process and that they must pay the price for excellence.

Beloved, in the same way, we must work hard to succeed and write our names on the wall of greatness. Let’s put in all our efforts to seize every opportunity while we stay positive. Moreover, as seen in our Bible reading, if we stick with God, our future will be more significant than our past. Don’t allow any discouragements to hinder what God wants to do. Trust in Him. He will promote you above every limitation, in Jesus’ name. Never give up and never give in!

Hymn: Work, for the Night, is Coming – Anna L. Coghill (1854)

1. Father, help me to pay the price for success, and let my tomorrow be more glorious than my today.

1. Father, please terminate any ancestral and evil monitors of my glory.

2. Thou wisdom of God, overshadow my life, my family, nation, and the Church.

3. Holy Ghost, remove every obstacle and habit capable of destroying my destiny.
