CHARM IS DECEITFUL
Proverbs 31:30-31 (30) – Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. (ESV)

A man proposed to a rich man’s daughter. Unfortunately, the lady mockingly rejected him and said, “How do you expect me to marry someone like you? I can never love you; go for someone at your level.” The man moved on, and ten years later, they ran into each other. The lady quickly said, “I’m now married to a smart man who earns $15,700 monthly.”
The man looked visibly upset, but before he could speak, the lady’s wealthy husband responded. “Sir? Good afternoon! I see you have met my wife.” The husband turned to his wife and said, “Dear, this is my boss. He owns the multimillion-dollar company I work for!” The man smiled and left.
The husband continued by saying, “My boss once told me that the woman he loved dumped him because he wasn’t earning enough. So he worked very hard to become a multimillionaire businessman. But he couldn’t move on from the heartache and is still unmarried.
Beloved, this is a great lesson, especially for our youth. As seen in today’s Bible reading, you shouldn’t marry or get into a relationship because of wealth or beauty. Don’t even yield to family or peer pressure, and never judge a person based on their present worth. Rather, deliberately depend on the Holy Spirit, who knows everything; He will not mislead you!
On the other hand, if you have gone through broken relationships because they feel you are worthless, be thankful to God. It might be His way of saving you from impending danger or divorce. Keep working hard and praying. The best is right ahead of you. Hold on and trust God!

1. I speak the blood of Jesus against the root of marital problems in my lineage.
2. Every verdict that says I will never be happily married, scatter!
3. My potential marriage, receive divine touch and manifest this year.
4. My marriage will not fail, nor shall it destroy my destiny.
