CARRIER OF GOD’S POWER
Psalms 85:6 – Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? (KJV)
He was one of the originators of the early revival fire that swept through the 1930s and 40s. With his bell in hand and standing on a makeshift pulpit, this anointed man of God strode through this world like a blazing fireball. This man was anointed, humble, and a terror to the kingdom of hell. He put many herbalists out of business and expelled demons who had the forest as their domain. Many times, they will lay the dead right in front of the altar where he ministered, and without his knowledge, the dead will rise (Matthew 10:7-10).
The man’s name is Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, who turned the mountains into his “Prayer Gym” so that one day while praying, a python crawled over him and he never cared, only to discover the python had dried up. His life is a wake-up call to this generation because God is seeking people who will ignite another flame of revival in this perverse world (Ezekiel 22:30). These days we have several prayer consultants but few genuine God-seekers. So many speakers but few spirit-led preachers Can you be the next carrier of God’s power?
Beloved, the vessels that God will use must not trade holiness, prayer altar, and the place of the Holy Spirit for anything. If you are ready for revival and God’s use, your prayer today would be David’s cry in our Bible reading, “Lord, I release myself to you. Please revive me and use me for Your glory.”
The second prayer is like that of John Wesley: “Set me on fire, Lord, and cause the world to come watch me burn.”
Hymn: Take My Life and Let It Be – Frances Ridley Havergal (1874)
