BY THIS TIME TOMORROW
2 Kings 7:1-20 (1) – Elisha replied, “Listen to this message from the LORD! This is what the LORD says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver.” (NLT)
The common question on every mind could be, “What tomorrow holds” because the assurance of a secured future gives confidence for today. However, regardless of the issues in your life, family, business, career or ministry, all shall be well. This is because whoever sticks with God always conquer every setback. After all, Christ is our hope and peace (John 14:27). Moreover, if the birds of the air and lilies of the valley get fed daily, how much more are we who are created in God’s image? Therefore, relax! You won’t end in shame (Isaiah 50:7).
In today’s Bible reading, the Almighty God miraculously transformed the great famine in Samaria where people ate their children because they couldn’t expect a better tomorrow. Through Prophet Elisha, the tide turned in favour of the people, and their story changed within 24 hours. In the same manner, I decree that, by this time tomorrow, your sickness, barrenness, joblessness, and reproach would have become bundles of testimonies in Jesus’ name. Therefore, do not compare your current situation with the glory ahead because your glorious tomorrow is a certainty in Christ (Colossians 1:26-27).
PRAYER
Hymn: All the way my Saviour leads me — Fanny Crosby & Robert Lowry (1875)
1. Thank God for life and providence thus far this year.
2. Father, please hasten Your word to reality in my life, career and family even before this time tomorrow.
3. Blank Cheque: decree into your tomorrow (Talk to God on those issues).
(MIDNIGHT PRAYER)
1. Every entrance to the door of greatness shut against me, be opened.
2. Father, please shine Your light on my path and bring clarity to my way of life.
3. Knowledge, wisdom and power of God fill my life, family, community, the Church and atmosphere.
NO MORE DILLY-DALLY
